iPhone Home Screen Cleanup Project: Day 1

Having been inspired by my good buddy Patrick Rhone’s iPhone Home Screen Experiment over at the peerless MinimalMac, I’ve decided to give my home screen a good scrubbing using roughly the same procedure as Patrick. The reader’s digest version is that any app that gets launched two or more times in the next week gets a spot on the home screen (or until the screen is full, naturally). Pretty simple, right?

With that, here’s my home screen as it sits right now:

As you can see, things are pretty bare. If you’re wondering how Evernote earned the coveted position of last app standing, all I can say is that this is a testament to how much I use it. Yeah, that much. As for the rest of the apps, smart money is on Tweetie and Mail to be on the home screen before breakfast tomorrow.

My plan is to update you all on my progress in a few days (about half-way through the process, unless it’s really boring). Stay tuned.
